Kōnane is an ancient Hawaiian two player strategy game. The relevant rules for these puzzles are:

• Players move by jumping one of their pieces over an adjacent opponent's piece into an empty square and removing the piece they jumped over.
• Jumps must be in a straight horizontal or vertical line.
• Players may chain multiple jumps in one turn, but they must continue in the same direction.
